I got the flu back in January and tried a new thing our health insurance has been pushing – Teledoc. Instead of going to my doctor’s office and sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of other sick people, I called and talked-coughed-talked to a “virtual doctor” who prescribed me non-virtual meds. There’s even an app for that! Like, a drugs app 😊 Sweet! And just the thing for introverted germ-o-phobes!
I felt inspired! Introducing: eTaxPrep! Actually, it’s nothing new for us, and many of you have been doing “Drop-Offs” for years, but I like the rebranding: “eTaxPrep!”
Basically, get your tax documents to us any way you can. Snail mail, UPS, FedEx, fax, email, or the awesome preferred method, our encrypted Secure Portal (like the Dark web, but safer!). We work on them for a few days and then contact you for some Q&A (phone or email). Once everything is finalized, we get some permission signatures (the same forms you’ve always signed) and payment, usually by that awesome Secure Portal system, and you’re set. No traffic! No germs! Only limited human contact!
Honestly, it’s not that we (especially the poodles) don’t want to see all of you, but we understand you have busy lives, and then there’s the current crazy issue that may keep some of you at home…
