Our January 2021 Newsletter has been posted to our website, and OMG is it riveting reading! Seriously, there’s quite a lot going on with taxes this season, so you probably should skim through it. There are notes about business deductions, working from home, Stimulus 1, Stimulus 2, unemployment, and so many other topics. Like I said, riveting stuff!
The first day we can efile personal income tax returns this year is February 12, 2021 (record late opening!), but we can prepare your taxes right now (assuming you have all your tax docs) and have them ready to go when the IRS finally opens. We can even try to get you a pre-acknowledgement refund anticipation loan (up to $6000) before the IRS opens if you really need some $$ sooner.
Our office hours for January are M-F 9-4. We will have extended hours including Saturdays starting Feb 1st. Please call or email if you have any questions or want to make an appointment.
Reminder – You can Securely Send Files to Tax Facts using our secure portal (like Drop Box). Just click the link in this email or at our website and use the Guest Upload button if you don’t have an account. This is safer than emailing us your information without encrypting (password protecting) it. We are also going to use our TFsecure portal for e-signatures and e-payments again this year.
Another Reminder – We sent out your personalized Tax Organizers via TFsecure last week. These are a handy reminder of what documents you had last year. Let me know if you have additional questions or need help getting organized.
